Gunmen kill citizen in Daudzai

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) A man was shot dead by unidentified armed assailants in the limits of Daudzai Police Station in Peshawar on Sunday.

Police said their team rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident.

The body was taken into custody and shifted to a hospital for legal formalities and a post-mortem examination.

After completion of the procedure, the body will be handed over to the victim's family.

Police officials said that evidence has been collected from the crime scene and an investigation has been launched from multiple angles to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing.

Initial reports suggest that the attackers managed to flee the area after carrying out the shooting.

Police have started efforts to identify and arrest the suspects involved in the incident.
