HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) The Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) has expressed serious concern over the growing disbalance in the economic policy-making in Sindh, calling it an alarming bell for all the major cities excluding Karachi.
The HCSTSI's President, Muhammad Saleem Memon on Sunday drew the government's attention towards the economies of the major cities like Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah and Larkana.
He bemoaned that the business representatives of those cities were seldom taken on board while making policy decisions as only their counterparts from Karachi were consulted in the process.
Memon urged the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Pakistan Peoples Party's Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to include the business community of those cities in the consultation process during the decision and policy
making exercises.
