QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Acting on the directives of Inspector General Balochistan Police Muhammad Tahir, Hub District Police under the supervision of SP Mirza Bilal Hassan and SDPO Hub Circle continued their uninterrupted crackdown against criminal elements, drug traffickers, and illegal arms holders.
According to a press release issued by Hub Police, City Police conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) and successfully arrested a suspect wanted in case number 265/2026 under sections 353, 324, 186, 427, 341, 147, 148, 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code along with section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. The accused was on the police’s wanted list.
In another operation within Sakran Police jurisdiction, one suspect was arrested for possession of an unlicensed 30-bore pistol along with a magazine and two live rounds.

Separately, Sakran Police apprehended another suspect during motorcycle snap-checking and recovered 1,500 grams of hashish. A case was registered under section 9(1)3(c) of the CNSA (case number 53/2026), and further investigation is underway.
Hub Police reaffirmed that operations against criminals, drug dealers, and illegal arms holders will continue without interruption, with arrested suspects facing interrogation and legal proceedings.
