Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem has taken notice of a tragic incident in Shadman Colony, Police Station A Division, Okara, where two sisters were killed and another injured by their brother’s firing. He has sought a detailed report from RPO Sahiwal
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem has taken notice of a tragic incident in Shadman Colony, Police Station A Division, Okara, where two sisters were killed and another injured by their brother’s firing. He has sought a detailed report from RPO Sahiwal.
IGP Abdul Kareem directed DPO Okara to immediately arrest the accused and stressed that all available resources be deployed to ensure prompt action. “The accused involved in the heinous act must be brought to justice without delay,” he said.
DPO Okara Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi said police, investigation, and forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime scene. He added that special teams have been formed for the arrest of the accused, who is expected to be apprehended soon.
