Inter and Matric Exam Date 2026 Karachi Board Announced

Sindh Education Department releases official 2026 exam schedule. Matric (9th & 10th) exams begin March 31 after Eid, intermediate (11th & 12th) from April 15. Results roll out June 1–30. New academic year starts April 1. Steering Committee, led by Minister Sardar Ali Shah, confirms unchanged summer vacations and Ramadan exams up to grade 8.

Matriculation exams for classes 9 and 10 start March 31, 2026. They run until April 15. This timing comes right after Eid ul-Fitr holidays. Intermediate exams for classes 11 and 12 kick off April 15, 2026.

The Sindh Education Department dropped the long-awaited news. The Steering Committee, chaired by Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah, approved the full plan. Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu joined as special guest.

Matric 10th grade results arrive by June 1. Matric 9th grade and intermediate second year results come by June 15. First-year intermediate results land by June 30.

Exams up to grade 8 stick to the regular March schedule – even during Ramadan. No shifts there.

The new academic year 2026–27 begins April 1, 2026. Last year’s summer vacation schedule stays the same. The academic theme focuses on “Teach for Trees” to push environmental awareness.
