Interim bail of Bushra Bibi extended

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi after the investigation team didn't appear before the court.

The hearing was presided over by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah.

Prosecutor Zaheer Shah, defence counsel Faisal Malik and other legal representatives were present during the proceedings.

During the hearing, the court was informed that the investigation team could not attend the session due to some engagements. The judge extended the interim bail till May 18 and adjourned the hearing.

The wife of PTI Founder is facing legal proceedings in connection with the November 26 protests, with 29 cases registered against her, including charges under anti-terrorism provisions.
