“Justice for All” seminar held

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) A seminar titled “Justice for All” was organized at the conference hall of the District Public Prosecutor Office to raise awareness about the provision of free legal aid and easy access to justice, particularly for deserving and vulnerable sections of society.

The seminar highlighted the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, regarding “Justice for All” and emphasized the effective implementation of the Free Legal Aid Act.

The event was presented as a practical reflection of the people-friendly policies of the Chief Minister Punjab, the dynamic leadership of Minister for Prosecution Punjab Rana Bilal Ahmed Khan, the administrative strategy of Secretary Prosecution Punjab Salman Ghani, and the professional guidance of Prosecutor General Punjab Syed Farhad Ali Shah.

All prosecutors of Sargodha, along with the in-charge of the Shelter Home, focal persons from District Jail Sargodha, Deputy Superintendent Jail, DSP Legal of Sargodha Police, and other concerned officers participated in the seminar.

On this occasion, the District Public Prosecutor Sargodha delivered a detailed briefing on the aims and objectives of the Free Legal Aid Act, legal procedures, and the facilities available to the public. During the seminar, participants also raised various legal and practical questions, which were answered comprehensively and satisfactorily.

Addressing the participants, the District Public Prosecutor stated that the Free Legal Aid Act is a revolutionary and people-friendly initiative of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aimed at making justice more accessible, effective, and assured for deprived and deserving segments of society.

He further said that organizing such awareness seminars would help promote legal awareness among the public and strengthen the vision of equal access to justice. Participants described the seminar as a positive and effective initiative.
