During the inspections, a meat shop was found selling items above the government-approved rates, prompting immediate action. Several other shops were also checked, and fines were imposed on shopkeepers violating the official price list. Traders were warned that continued non-compliance could result in legal action.

In a parallel drive, Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Mutahar inspected bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores at Jhundi Station and Bypass Road. The inspections focused on hygiene standards, quality of food items, and adherence to official pricing, with violators penalized on the spot.
