Kohat chamber pays tribute to armed forces on anniversary of Ma’raka-e-Haq

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The office bearers of Kohat Chamber of Commerce and Industry here paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and security institutions on the completion of one year of Ma’raka-e-Haq stating that the nation stands proud of the courage and professionalism of security forces to defend the motherland.

In a joint statement, the chamber said the Pakistan Army had foiled the enemy’s malicious designs and responded to aggression with exemplary resolve thereby enhancing the country’s dignity and honor at the international level. They added that the events of the past year reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan and its security forces possess full capability to counter any form of hostility.

The chamber reiterated that Pakistan is a peace loving nation and that sustainable regional peace is closely linked to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions. They emphasized that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave soldiers adding that sacrifices of martyrs would forever remain a guiding light for future generations.

They further pledged that the business community would continue to play its role at every level for national security, stability, economic development and the promotion of commercial activity.
