PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Muhammad Sohail Afridi inspected living conditions of Afghan refugees in Hamza Baba Camp situated in Landi Kotal, district Khyber.
According to a statement issued by Commissioner office on Sunday, Chief Minister received a comprehensive briefing regarding facilities and support system currently being managed by Peshawar administration. He was accompanied by Commissioner Peshawar Division Riaz Khan Mehsud, various administrative officers, and members of both National and Provincial Assemblies.
While touring the site, Chief Minister personally reviewed challenges facing camp's residents and issued immediate orders to address their grievances. He conducted a thorough inspection of basic amenities and directed the relevant authorities to mobilize all necessary resources to improve the refugees' quality of life.
Engaging directly with the residents, Chief Minister Afridi reaffirmed that provincial government remains committed to utilizing its available resources to provide essential care and support for Afghan refugee community.
