KP Govt launches property tax recovery campaign in Charsadda

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) A special and effective enforcement campaign is underway against property tax defaulters in Charsadda by the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during which several defaulting property tax units have been sealed for non-payment of government dues.

According to details, on the directives of Excise and Taxation Officer, District Charsadda, Parvez Akhtar, special teams have been constituted to recover outstanding government dues from major defaulters.

Despite the issuance of repeated notices, legal action is being taken against defaulters who failed to deposit their outstanding property tax liabilities. In the latest operation carried out as part of the campaign, several property tax units were sealed in accordance with the law.

The Excise and Taxation Department has advised property owners to ensure timely payment of all outstanding property tax dues in order to avoid legal action and any inconvenience.
