KP Police, ETEA sign MoU for transparent recruitment of field operators

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure transparent and merit-based recruitment of field operators.

The signing ceremony was held at the Central Police Office during a high-level meeting chaired by Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, with senior police officials and ETEA representatives in attendance.

The MoU was formally signed by DIG Headquarters Abbas Majeed Marwat on behalf of KP Police and Executive Director ETEA Adil Saifi.

Under the agreement, ETEA will conduct all stages of recruitment for field operators, including written examinations, screening tests and preparation of results, through a secure, transparent and merit-based system to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates.

Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said the collaboration reflects the department’s commitment to modern, transparent and merit-driven recruitment processes.

He emphasized that merit remains the top priority of KP Police and such initiatives would further strengthen public trust.

He added that efforts were being made to promote modern, technology-based recruitment systems to enhance transparency and restore public confidence.

The initiative is part of ongoing reforms within KP Police aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, improving service delivery and inducting competent individuals into the force.

The Executive Director ETEA assured that the agency would carry out all phases of recruitment with integrity, professionalism and transparency.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to uphold merit and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
