KP Tourism Authority advises tourists to avoid unnecessary traveling following rains forest till May 4

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd May, 2026) The KP Culture and Tourism Authority here on Saturday advised the tourists to avoid unnecessary traveling following forecast of duststorm with rain in Upper and Central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the night of May 2 to May 4.

According to the advisory issued by the Authority, duststorms and rain are expected during this period in Chitral Upper/Lower, Dir Upper/Lower, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan Upper/Lower, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, and Mardan.

Tourists and travelers were requested to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautionary measures. In case of any emergency, contact the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Helpline at 1422.
