KPK Governor, AJK Premier discuss national unity and inter-regional cooperation

MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore at Jammu Kashmir House in Islamabad on Wednesday, where the two leaders held detailed discussions on issues of national importance and matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on promoting national cohesion, strengthening inter-provincial harmony, and addressing public concerns affecting people in their respective regions. They emphasized the need for greater coordination to tackle common challenges and advance the welfare of citizens.

The discussion also focused on enhancing institutional cooperation and fostering closer working relations between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir. Both sides explored avenues for increased collaboration on issues of shared significance and reaffirmed their commitment to constructive engagement.

Governor Kundi and Prime Minister Rathore agreed to maintain close contact and continue joint efforts aimed at improving public service delivery and promoting national solidarity. Political Assistant Syed Azadar Hussain Kazmi was also present during the meeting, according to official sources.
