KSrelief completes final phase of food security support project

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully completed

the fifth and final phase of its Food Security Support Project 2025–26 in Pakistan.

This marks a significant milestone in the Centre’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to alleviate

food insecurity and support underprivileged communities across the country. Approximately

195,487 individuals across 31 districts benefited from the final phase.

The national-level initiative was executed across 31 districts ensuring a wide geographical

reach to those in need included Punjab:10 districts, Balochistan:7 districts, Sindh 6 districts,

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:5 districts and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) 3 districts.

The Primary objective of the project was to ensure the timely provision of essential food

items to vulnerable families facing food instability.

During the final phase, thousands of deserving families received comprehensive food packages.

Each package weighed 97 kg and included: Flour 80 kg, cooking Oil: 5 liters, Sugar 5 kg

split Chickpeas (Daal Chana) 5 kg and dates 2 kg.
