The launch ceremony of the poetry book "Khamareel Khuwab" by the young poet of Sindh, Waheed Ghahi, was held at Dr Nabi Baksh Baloch Hall, Sindhi Language Authority

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) The launch ceremony of the poetry book "Khamareel Khuwab" by the young poet of Sindh, Waheed Ghahi, was held at Dr Nabi Baksh Baloch Hall, Sindhi Language Authority, which was presided over by senior poet Pir Bahauddin 'Baha' Sarhandi and the special guest was Sindhi Adabi Sangat Sindh, Central Joint Secretary Bharo Mal Amrani.

While the guests of honor were Syed Zowar Naqvi, Idris Jatoi, Wahid Kandhro and Ghulam Mustafa Solangi.

The ceremony was conducted by the renowned writer and poet of Sindh, Taj Joyo. They were carried out. Jabar Taseer Soomri, the special guest and the poet, was given gifts and hats; various friends gave necklaces to the poet and gifts of books.

Pir Baha Sirhandi, while delivering the presidential speech, said that Wahid Gahaho Ghazal is a perfect poet.

He has new lines, rhymes, beauty of words and a high flight of ideas. He has recognized himself in the poetry of ghazal in the new era. Bharu Mil Amrani, speaking as a special guest, said that among the current ghazal poets, Wahid Gaha has risen to the top. He has given a new language and a new meaning to ghazal.

The Secretary of Sindhi Literary Society, Prof Zowar Naqvi, said that the rural language and idioms of Wahid Gahahi have given a new beauty to his ghazals.

The secretary general of Bizm Rooh Rahan, Wahid Kandhari, said that after the era of Sheryl Badahi and Ghulam Nabi Kolachi, Waheed Gaha is the first young poet of Asan region who has created individuality in ghazal.

Anwar Sagar Kandhari, while reading detailed articles, said that Wahid Gahahi has described the problems of the modern era in a unique way; his ghazals have modern sensibility and aesthetic elements, he has given a new dimension to the new ghazal with his experiences, and his new presentation leaves the readers shocked.

Jabar Taseer Soomri said that the poetry of Waheed Gahahi has been matured by the training class of Sindhi Literary Society, Hyderabad. Even though he is a junior, he writes good and mature ghazals.

Mohammad Ali Chana praised the ghazals of Waheed Gahahi and said that they have the quality of singing and chanting. In the program, Yousuf Joy, Abdullah Kohistani, Dildar Januri, Hashim Latifi, Ghulam Rasool Dhark, Mola Bakhsh Mohabati, Nazeer Malkani, Shad Namai, Imran Soomri, Madad Ali Jahantial, Dr Abdul Ghaffar Junji, Khalil Parhiyar, Engineer Zakir Phalpoti, Khan Jarwar, Prof Sikandar Ali, Prof Nasrullah Leghari, Wafa Maula Bakhsh Qambarani, Hakeem Imam Bakhsh Mangrii, Iqbal Baloch, Qazi Naseem Pars, Dr Ashwathma, Professor Shahban Sahti, Aftab Bhatti, Rupli Joy, Dr Aziz Talpar, Faqir Niaz Sheikh, Ashiq Chandy, Waheed Mustafa Lashari, Azhar Rand, Rizwan Gul Solangi, Hasnain Kandhari and others participated.
