Loralai Police arrest two suspects, recover machine guns in timely operation

LORALAI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Police in Loralai carried out a swift operation under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sharif Musakhail, Station House Officer of Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Tareen City Police Station, successfully arresting two suspects and recovering two machine guns along with cartridges.

The arrested individuals were identified as Syed Muhammad, son of Sultan Muhammad of the Luni tribe, and Sado Khan, son of Baran of the Khuruti tribe, both residents of Qila Saifullah.

According to initial investigations, the suspects had arrived in Loralai with the intention of carrying out a criminal act, but were apprehended before they could execute their plan.

Police sources confirmed that one of the suspects, Syed Muhammad Luni, was already under investigation with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in connection with Duki Police case number 05/022, registered under the Explosives Act, Section 302, 435, 427, 34, and 7 ATA. He was also wanted in another case, number 09/023, involving charges under Sections 324, 457, and 506.

Authorities added that further investigation is underway to determine the suspects’ full intentions and possible links to other criminal activities.
