Man among three booked for killing wife, three minors

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Mamtazabad police registered a case against the man and two others for allegedly killing his wife and three minor children on the complaint of the woman’s brother.

According to the FIR, the complainant, Allah Ditta, stated that his brother-in-law, Murtaza son of Karamat Ali, had strained relations with his sister, Nighat Yasmeen, 35. On the day of incident, his sister had called their mother and request for help. Upon information,his brother, Asif, rushed to Nighat's house and found her and three children including two five-year-old twins--Hasan Fakir and Hussain Fakir,and 1.

5-year-old Umm-e-Horain hanged from ceiling fan.

He alleged that the incident was portrayed as a suicide after killing the children.

The complainant also nominated his sister’s brother-in-law Muhammad Akbar and his wife, Shagufta, accusing them of assisting in the alleged murders.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.

It is pertinent to mention that police recovered the bodies couple of days ago.Initial reports suggested that the woman had allegedly killed her children before committing suicide.
