Man held for plotting brother’s murder

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) In a significant development, police have arrested a man for allegedly hiring a contract killer to murder his younger brother over a domestic dispute in the Dhamyal area.

A police spokesman said the incident had occurred two months ago and a case was initially registered against unidentified persons.

During investigation, police expanded the scope and included the victim’s brother, who later confessed to planning the murder.

During the investigation, the accused revealed that he had hired a contract killer, who was also arrested through technical and human intelligence.

SP Saddar Anum Sher said the suspects would be challaned with solid evidence to ensure exemplary punishment.
