Man kills wife

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) An incident of wife's murder due to alleged violence by her husband in Shadman area occurred, on which the police have registered a case and started investigation.

According to the police, the case was registered at Shadman police station on the complaint of the victim's father, in which the husband, mother-in-law and three brothers-in-law have been named.

According to the text of the FIR, the plaintiff took the position that 150 tolas of gold were given to him 12 years ago on the occasion of his daughter's marriage. He says that since the marriage, the husband and in-laws had allegedly been harassing and quarreling with the daughter.

According to the plaintiff, a commercial plot in Defense and a shop on Brand Rath Road were also transferred to the daughter's name to build a house for her daughter. Despite this, the accused were demanding another Rs 3.5 crore.

The FIR also states that the plaintiff sent Rs 1 crore to the main accused Ismail.

The father alleges that the accused wanted to sell his daughter’s car, over which a fight broke out and the daughter was later killed.

Police officials say that all aspects of the incident are being investigated and action will be taken against the named accused as per the law.
