Man shot dead outside district court over old enmity

JOHARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) A man here on Tuesday was shot dead near the main public gate of the district court over old enmity.

The incident is part of an ongoing local dispute in the nearby town of Jhugiyan, the police sources said.

They said the body had been identified as Hamid Hussain gunned down by Raja Mazhar Abbas .

The police rushed to the scene immediately after receiving reports of the shooting.

The police registered a case against the accused and launched investigation, they added.
