March 23rd utmost vital in history of Pakistan: Naeem

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Focal Person and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Central Leader Chaudhry Naeem Karim on Sunday said that March 23rd is of utmost importance in the history of our beloved homeland.

In his statement issued, he said that on this day, the Muslim leadership under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had pledged to embark on a journey of freedom with new determination and enthusiasm.

He said that our elders achieved this homeland after going through great difficulties, now it is our responsibility to make it stable and strong.

“We will have to move forward with one nation and one thought”, he said that the Muslim League (N) stands by the Pakistan Army to defend the country.

Chaudhry Naeem Karim said that March 23rd holds a unique place in the history of the subcontinent, on this day, the Pakistan Resolution was passed in Lahore under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the achievement of a separate homeland.

He noted that this resolution gave a new direction and thinking to the Muslims and gave new enthusiasm to the freedom movement.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah made the principles of islam, peace, tolerance and love for humanity his motto.

The guiding principles of the Quaid-e-Azam influenced not only the Muslims of India but also other minorities living in the subcontinent, he said.

He said that Quaid-e-Azam's wise leadership and true dedication to achieving the goal were very strong.

He said that in a short period of just seven years after the approval of the Pakistan Resolution, Muslims were able to get their own separate homeland. Today, we as a whole have to forget our differences and play a role in the construction and development of the country.

He said that Pakistanis as a nation have fought the monster of terrorism together. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces in the war against terrorism. The workers of the Muslim League (N) are ready to make any sacrifice for the defense and security of the country.
