PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The entire Pakistani nation has geared up to mark the first anniversary of Marka e Haq in which Pakistani forces achieved historic victory against three time’s bigger India and emerged a global leader among a comity of nations.
Maraka e Haq epic event spanning April 22-May 10, 2025 signified a commemoration of the historic victory being celebrated across various national and provincial platforms in Khyber Pakthunkhwa to pay homage to the brave armed forces of Pakistan and strong resolve of the present elected Govt that defeated coward India on all fronts.
From Khyber to Karachi and Gawadar to Chitral, people of all provinces of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and provincial government organizations are all set to pay glowing tributes to the civil and military leadership for their strong determination, steadfastness and resolve that frustrated the nefarious designs of the enemy and achieved historic success in land, sea and air warfare against India.
“While catalyzing, nationalism, patriotism and reformation, the spirit of Marka-e-Haq embodied the resilience, bravery and determination of our nation besides demonstrating our ability to overcome all external and internal challenges and strived for national development and prosperity without compromising on the country’s sovereignty,” said Professor Dr. A.H.Hilali, former Chairman, Political Science Department at University of Peshawar while talking to APP.
“Certainly, Pakistan was left with no option but to launch the decisive operation Iron Wall in response to India’s unprovoked missiles and drone strikes on May 6-7, 2025 night that targeted civilian population in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir,” he said.
“Operation Iron wall is more than just a military success but proved as a turning point in regional power equation, supremacy and a strong reminder that Pakistan’s armed forces are both battle-hardened, fight with faith and spiritually resolute that helped them to achieve the historic success.
Also, Marka-e-Haq served as a catalyst of national unity, resolve and national enthusiasm, igniting the Pakistani youth to chart a new course for the country’s development. Viably, Marka-e-Haq reinvigorated Pakistan’s founding vision, implying a focus on national identity, and a prosperous future that aligned with Quaid’s founding principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline.
Moreover, the synergy between national leadership and public support suggested a collective effort that may be tied to the vision of Pakistan. Further, the three major attributes of Marka-e-Haq are respectively Pakistani revitalized strong military action or doctrine, national unity and defense of the country’s sovereignty.
These attributes suggested the importance of a unified nation in the face of external threats especially of the Indian proxies, highlighting the need for a collective national will against menace of terrorism. In this regard, Marka-e-Haq gave a new force to Pakistani nationalism and strength against the evil of terrorism.
By connecting with Pakistan’s founding vision, he said we can harness this collective energy to drive positive change by promoting tolerance in society and build a brighter future for generations to come. By focusing on Quaid e Azam’s faith, unity and discipline, he said the country can overcome economic challenges, achieve set financial objectives and build a prosperous future for generations to come.
“Pakistan was created based on the basis of two nation theory. And as a nation-state, this theory or the vision continues to serve as a lens through which Pakistan’s identity is perceived and shaped by its ideology. The relationship between our founding ideology and Marka-e-Haq seemed organically inseparable, deeply intertwined with the country’s history and political landscape and ultimately personifying islam as the basis for nationhood,” he told APP.
“The great conduct of Pakistan Armed Forces Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos, on 10 May 2025 as part of Marka-e-Haq, was in response to Indian military’s dastardly attacks that began on the night of 6 -7 May 2025, resulting in the loss of innocent civilian lives, including women, children and elderly citizens in Pakistan,’ he said.
He said Pakistani forces responded decisively to Indian naked aggression, with operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos, targeting the enemy’s military assets, ammunition depots and missile bases along and beyond the Line of Control (LoC) successfully and inflicted heavy losses to them.
Besides shooting down multiple war planes of the enemy, Marka-e-Haq had garnered international attention, with several countries acknowledging Pakistan's poised stance.
Dr. Ejaz Khan, former Chairman International Relations Department at University of Peshawar said Pakistan had emerged as global leader after historic success in Marka e Haq and its diplomatic and defense standing achieved new heights of glory among comity of nations.
He said that focus on protecting Pakistan’s territorial integrity under Article 51 of the UN Charter UN and invocation of International Humanitarian Law, signified an uncompromising commitment of our valiant armed forces to resist any incursions or external and internal challenges with full might.
In this regard, he said Marka-e-Haq led by operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos has delivered an exemplary lesson for India after it was defeated on land, sea, air and diplomatic front by Pakistan.
Additionally, Marka-e-Haq upheld Quaid-e-Azam ‘s saying that Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein as it provides a new bloodline to Kashmiris’ enduring struggle for right of self-determination as promised to them by UNSC. Most importantly, the Kashmir Issue has been glaringly internationalized after Maraka e Haq and that US President Trump had offered mediation on Kashmir.
While establishing our military global supremacy, Marka-e-Haq significantly contributed to the revitalization of Pakistan’s fighting power, said Manzoorul Haq, former ambassador, adding this was achieved through better technological advancements and fighting skills, resulting in precise targeting capabilities against Indian military installations.
He said operation iron wall showcased synergy across various national organizations and overwhelming public support. Furthermore, Pakistan has successfully exposed the so-called Indian regional dominance after shooting down its expansive warplanes including Rafale.
Also, Pakistan Air Force has significantly enhanced its global fighting image and was called as an undisputed King of Skies by foreign media.
The heroic PAF’s success by downing multiple Indian aircrafts of IAF, showcased its advanced technology and operational capabilities and outstanding fighting skills. This triumph combined with world recognition and international awards, has largely contributed to a positive shift in PAF’s global prestige and professional acumen.
Ambassador Manzoor said Pakistan established its global defense standing by enhancing its strategic relationships with both the western and eastern world, particularly, global powers including US and China. After Pakistan’s remarkable victory in Marka-e-Haq, domestically, India had faced demoralization and diplomatic isolation in the world.
The experts said Marka-e-Haq helped the government’s efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s economy, potentially through local and international investment. He said operation iron wall testified that Pakistan has all the abilities and resources to truly overcome all challenges and save the country from all threats.
The experts said that under the visionary military leadership of CDF/COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan has revitalized the founding vision of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, reaffirming the nation's resilience and determination.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have played key mediation's role during ongoing US-Iran conflict and the world was highly praising Pakistan's diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.
By successfully defending the country’s territorial integrity, they said that Marka-e-Haq reignited the spirit of patriotism, unity and identity echoing the national ideals crafted by our founding fathers led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal. They said international investment has started coming to Pakistan and today our country was moving fast on the road to progress and prosperity among the comity of nations.
