Marka-e-Haq elevated Pakistan to new heights of global prestige: Rana Sanaullah

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Adviser to Prime Minister (PM) on Political and Public Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday that historic success of Marka-e-Haq elevated Pakistan to new heights of global prestige and today the entire world is looking at Pakistan with honour and respect as the country had emerged as a symbol of strength, peace and responsible diplomacy.

He was addressing the first annual commemorative ceremony held at Bohranwali Ground on completion of one year of the historic success of Marka-e-Haq, as chief guest.

A large number of political and social personalities, workers, citizens and people belonging to different walks of life attended the ceremony and paid rich tribute to Pakistan Armed Forces, martyrs and Ghazis.

Addressing the participants, Senator Rana Sanaullah said that Pakistan Armed Forces stood like an iron wall against an enemy many times larger in size and crushed its hostile designs, proving before the world that Pakistan was an invincible state.

He said that whenever the Pakistani nation united, even the strongest enemy faced defeat due to the collective strength, determination and patriotism of the people.

He said that Marka-e-Haq had given Pakistan a distinguished status in the Muslim world as an ambassador of peace and stability.

He said that Muslim countries highly valued Pakistan’s leadership, military capability and reconciliatory role while major world powers were also expressing confidence in Pakistan.

Rana Sanaullah paid glowing tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said the entire nation saluted his visionary military leadership under which Pakistan Armed Forces defeated the enemy’s malicious designs.

He also paid homage to the martyrs and Ghazis of Marka-e-Haq and said that their sacrifices were a source of pride for the nation while history would always remember their courage and bravery in golden words.

PM Advisor said that the day was also meant to salute the mothers, sisters and families who sacrificed their loved ones for defense of the country, adding that the nation would never forget their unprecedented sacrifices rather would continue to stand with them.

He said that after suffering open defeat, the enemy was now engaged in conspiracies and attempting to pursue hostile objectives against Pakistan on different fronts.

He said that India was trying to use Afghanistan against Pakistan despite the fact that Afghanistan was a neighboring and brotherly country with decades-old relations with Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan desired peace, stability and development in the region and enjoyed positive diplomatic influence globally because of its balanced and reconciliatory approach.

Rana Sanaullah expressed hope that Pakistan’s positive diplomatic efforts would also contribute towards peaceful resolution of tensions between the United States and Iran.

He appreciated the diplomatic performance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and said that their effective strategy had strengthened Pakistan’s stance globally and enhanced its prestige.

He said that the dream envisioned by the forefathers of the nation alongside Muhammad Ali Jinnah at the time of creation of Pakistan now appeared to be transforming into reality.

The entire nation stood united with its institutions like a fortified wall and reaffirmed the resolve to continue playing its role shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Armed Forces for the defense, security and development of the country, he added.

PM Adviser also praised law enforcement agencies for their sacrifices in maintaining internal peace and stability and said that national unity, trust in institutions and collective determination would help Pakistan overcome economic and internal challenges.

He said that Pakistan had now emerged globally as a symbol of peace, stability and responsible diplomacy and this spirit of national unity would further strengthen and prosper the country in future.

Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s security, stability and economic progress in addition to elevation of ranks of the martyrs.

Later, a laser light show, national anthem performances, patriotic songs and spectacular fireworks display were also presented on the occasion.
