Marka-e-Haq emerges as symbol of national unity, peace: religious leaders

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The religious leaders said that Marka-e-Haq “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos” has emerged as a symbol of national unity, peace and unshakable strength.

Addressing the “Marka-e-Haq Peace Seminar” at Jamia Umm Madaris Gulberg-A Faisalabad, they paid glowing tribute to Pakistan Armed Forces and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their courageous leadership, strategic vision and historic success in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.

Acting Chairman Markazi Bain-ul-Mazahib Aman Committee Pakistan Allama Sikandar Hayat Zaki, Vice Chairman Maulana Qari Khubaib Hameed, General Secretary Sahibzada Tahir Mahmood Sialvi, Chairman Ulema Council Pakistan (UCP) Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi, Chairman Aizazi Council Punjab Syed Hasnain Shirazi, President Sunni Tehreek Faisalabad Division Professor Asif Raza Qadri, District Peace Committee member Raja Saleem Abid, Hafiz Shoaib Amir and former President Faisalabad Bar Association Mian Javed Iqbal addressed the seminar.

Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that Marka-e-Haq was not merely an event but a historic victory granted through the blessings and support of Almighty Allah, adding that the entire nation was observing Youm-e-Tashakkur with gratitude and pride.

They said that the occasion was not symbolic or ceremonial in nature but a genuine expression of thanksgiving in which the nation stood united before Allah Almighty for the protection, dignity and stability of Pakistan.

They paid rich tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that his visionary leadership, professional expertise and bold strategic decisions transformed Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos into an invincible force.

They said that Pakistan Armed Forces demonstrated extraordinary unity, sacrifice, wisdom and discipline during the operation, adding that success of the mission would be written in golden words in national history.

The participants also appreciated Pakistan’s role on the diplomatic front and said that the country had emerged globally as a responsible state promoting peace, mediation and regional stability.

They said that Pakistan’s balanced, dignified and effective diplomacy during recent developments not only enhanced the country’s international prestige but also contributed positively towards regional peace and stability.

The speakers further praised the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and termed the coordination between political and military leadership a positive sign for the country’s strength, stability and progress.

They also saluted the courage and bravery of the Ghazis who defended the country with unwavering determination and patriotic spirit.

Later, special prayers were offered for the security, progress and prosperity of Pakistan, success of the armed forces, unity of the Muslim Ummah and elevation of the ranks of martyrs.
