PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Political and diplomatic experts here Monday said that Marka e Haq was a golden chapter in Pakistan’s defense history in which it had shattered India's deception narrative of regional supremacy.
Backed by the nation during Marka e Haq spanning April 22 to May 10, 2025, Pakistani forces showed supremacy in land, air, sea and technology warfare and defeated the three times bigger enemy India on all fronts.
Talking to APP, former secretary law and order, Brigadier Retd Mehmood Shah said Pakistan’s superiority in conventional warfare has been globally recognized after Marka e Haq that shattered the confidence of Indian forces as evident of raising white flags across the LOC at IIOJ&K after Pakistani artillery broke their back on May 10 last year.
He said multiple warplanes including the highly sophisticated Rafale of the enemy has been shot down by PAF while the enemy’s S-400 air defense system at Adampur at Indian Punjab were also destroyed.
Brigadier (Rtd) Mehmood Shah accused the fascist Modi Govt that orchestrated a "false flag operation" at Pehalam last year in a bid to cover internal security lapses, separatists movement, human rights abuses at IIOJ&K and deflect attention from domestic failures.
Professor Dr. Adnan Sarwar Khan, former Chairman of the International Relations Department at the University of Peshawar said that Pakistan’s superiority in warfare was globally accepted during Marka e Haq and Operation Iron Wall.
He said the entire world including Pakistan had totally rejected the India's baseless accusations following Pehalgam incident as it lacked both investigation and legal justification.
“Instead of positively reciprocating to the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s offer for Pehalgam’s joint probe, the Indian government and media had again resorted to blaming Pakistan without presenting any credible evidence and the international community condemned Modi’s negative rhetoric,” said Dr Adnan Sarwar Khan.
Brigadier (Retd.) Mahmood Shah said that Pahalgam was located nearly 400 kilometers from the Line of Control, which is one of the most heavily guarded areas in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), patrolled by over 800,000 Indian security personnel.
"In such a tight security grid where there’s practically one soldier for every five civilians, how could such a bold attack occur in broad daylight?” he questioned. “Pahalgam incident was an orchestrated ploy staged by RAW to malign Pakistan.”
He challenged the Indian false flag narrative by raising key security questions, including the absence of evidence regarding casualties and perpetrators after Pehalgam incident.
“If it was truly a terror attack, where the bodies of the alleged terrorists were and where the proof were such as weapons, communication logs, video footage etc?” he asked.
Moreover, how social media accounts linked to India's intelligence agency, RAW, had begun blaming Pakistan quickly suggested premeditation that further exposed the deep rooted conspiracy against Pakistan.
The speakers highlighted a pattern of similar terror incidents taking place during politically sensitive moments or international VVIP visits in India. “These attacks have always seemed to happen when India wants to shift focus or build a narrative against Pakistan whether it was attacks of Samjhauta Express in 2007, Mumbai in 2008, Pulwama in 2019, or Pahalgam in 2025,” he said. The Pehalgam false flag operation was orchestrated when US Vice President JD Vance was touring India.
The experts recalled that in several previous instances, Indian officials or investigations have later contradicted the official narrative of New Delhi, brigadier Mahmood said and added that for example, a former CBI officer revealed that the 2008 Mumbai attacks were used by the Indian government to push anti-terror legislation. Likewise, the ex-Governor of IIOJK had publicly stated the Pulwama attack in 2019 was avoidable and mishandled by Indian forces.
The experts further criticized India's global campaign to malign Pakistan while ignoring its own involvement in international terror incidents, including operations targeting Sikh dissidents and butchering Kashmiris at IIOJK.
He said the arrest of serving Indian Navy Commander Kulbosan Yadev at Balochistan signified India involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.
Wajid Ali Khan, former KP Minister and PMLN leader said that Marka-e-Haq and Pakistan’s proactive mediation role during US-Iran conflict have boosted the country’s international reputation and enhanced its prestige and honour globally.
He said the entire Pakistani nation has remained firmly united and are behind their civil and military leadership, emphasizing that the country’s global standing witnessed significant improvement along with greater respect for its passport following Marka e Haq.
Wajid Khan said that the strong and decisive response of the armed forces of Pakistan to the three times bigger enemy India on May 10 last year has drawn appreciation from global leaders and international observers, who acknowledged Pakistan’s principles, stance and professional conduct. The speakers paid great tributes to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshall Syed Asim Munir's leadership during Marak e Haqa that raised Pakistan's stature globally.
