MD Suthra Punjab Agency vows exemplary cleanliness on Eid-ul-Adha

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Suthra Punjab Agency Managing Director Abid Hussain Bhatti has said that all available resources will be utilized to ensure exemplary cleanliness arrangements during Eid-ul-Adha.

He said that providing a clean environment is not only the responsibility of institutions but also the joint responsibility of every citizen.

He said that Ulema play an important role in society, urging them to highlight the importance of cleanliness in their Juma sermons.

He expressed these views in a meeting held with ulema regarding Eid-ul-Adha here on Thursday, in which detailed discussions were held on the cleanliness situation across the city, timely disposal of sacrificial animal waste and creating cleanliness awareness among the citizens.

The MD especially requested the Ulema to inform the citizens about the importance of cleanliness in Eid-ul-Adha congregations as well as Juma sermons and advise them to throw sacrificial animal waste at designated places.

The Ulema appreciated the cleanliness campaign of the Suthra Punjab Agency and assured their full cooperation. They said that cleanliness is half of faith, therefore, citizens should follow the principles of cleanliness.

The Suthra Punjab Agency appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the sanitation staff and never throw the sacrificial animals waste in the open places to ensure a clean and healthy environment during Eid-ul-Adha.
