Met Office predicts hot, dry weather in Karachi in next 24 hours

Karachi is likely to experience mostly sunny and warm conditions throughout the day while temperatures are expected to remain on the higher side

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 2^nd, 2026) The Meteorological Department has forecast hot weather conditions in the city over the next 24 hours, with clear skies expected during the daytime.

The weather advisory said that Karachi is likely to experience mostly sunny and warm conditions throughout the day while temperatures are expected to remain on the higher side.

The department stated that the maximum temperature in the city may range between 36°C and 38°C, while the minimum temperature recorded at night stood at around 29°C.

It further added that intermittent strong winds may also sweep through the city during this period. At present, winds are blowing from the west at a speed of around 11 kilometres per hour.

The humidity level in the air has been recorded at approximately 66 percent, which may add to the overall discomfort despite clear weather conditions.
