MAKKAHA MUKARRAMAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, has ordered stringent monitoring of Hajj welfare staff (Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj), Maktab administrators (Nazmeen), and Seasonal Duty Staff (SDS) during the crucial days of Hajj at the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. The move aims to ensure optimal guidance and the provision of maximum facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.

The Federal Minister directed that monitoring be made exceptionally rigorous and proactive during the 'Mashair Days' through the specially launched Key Performance Monitoring System (KPMS) to assess the quality of service. He emphasized that serving the guests of Allah is a profound privilege and a heavy responsibility, and absolutely no negligence will be tolerated.

Echoing the Federal Minister's directives, Secretary of Religious Affairs Abrar Ahmed Mirza issued a stern warning, stating that any laxity or carelessness in serving the pilgrims would invite strict consequences. He made it clear that any Khuddam or Nazmeen found guilty of neglecting their assigned duties during the Mashair Days would face a lifetime ban from participating in future Hajj missions and would never be selected for this sacred duty again.

Detailing the initiative, KPMS Coordinator Ahmed Nadeem Khan stated that the Primary objective of implementing this system is to ensure 100 percent attendance of all Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj and Maktab Nazmeen at their specifically designated points. He added that in view of the immense crowds and logistical challenges during the Mashair Days, operational coordination has been significantly accelerated to ensure that every welfare worker on the ground remains on high alert to assist pilgrims immediately.

Providing insights into the technical framework, National Information Technology board (NITB) Program Manager Muhammad Owais revealed that for the first time in the history of Hajj operations, live digital tracking of all welfare staff is being executed. He clarified that this modern technology enables the central control room in Makkah to monitor the real-time location and performance of all Khuddam and Nazmeen, ensuring that no worker can leave their assigned post or duty unattended, thereby guaranteeing prompt relief and assistance to the pilgrims.
