Missing youth found shot dead in Abbottabad forest

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) A young man who had been reported missing was found shot dead in a forested area of Jahafar within the jurisdiction of Bagnoter Police Station on Tuesday.

According to police, unidentified assailants shot the victim and dumped his body in a nearby forest before fleeing the scene. The deceased was identified as Arman Ali, who had been missing since the previous day.

His family had already lodged a missing person report with the police.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the scene, took the body into custody, and shifted it to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for a post-mortem examination after completing legal formalities.

Police said an investigation has been launched into the murder, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible for the killing.
