Mother is a great blessing of Allah Almighty: PA Speaker

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said on Sunday

that a mother was a great blessing of Allah Almighty and an everlasting

symbol of selfless love.

In his message on International Mother's Day, he stated, “Today is a day

to pay tribute to the great mothers of martyrs and veterans.

“A mother is a cool shade in the harsh heat of life and the greatest source

of strength for her children,” he added.

The PA Speaker said, “A mother is the foundation of the family, the pillar

of society, and the first institution of character building.”

He further said that serving, obeying, and seeking the prayers of one’s mother

guarantee success in this world and the hereafter.

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan prayed for the health and safety

of all mothers and for the forgiveness of deceased mothers.
