Muharram procession arrangements reviewed in Gujrat

Gujranwala Range Khurram Shehzad Haider Warraich, Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain

Qureshi and District Police Officer Akhtar Farooq visited the central Imam Bargah Hussainia

and the route of a Category A Muharram procession to review security and administrative

arrangements.

According to official source, during the visit they inspected the procession route and

reviewed facilities being provided for mourners, including security deployment, cleanliness

and other administrative measures to ensure smooth conduct of Muharram gatherings.

Members of the core committee, including Saeed Shah Gujrati, Syed Altaf-ur-Rehman,

Hakim Jawad-ur-Rehman Saifi, Khadim Ali Khadim, Hafiz Sabir Javed and Chaudhry

Suleman Shaukat accompanied the officials during the visit.

President Hussainia Trust Mir Jawad Hussain Jafri briefed the visiting officials in detail

regarding arrangements for the central processions of 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Muharram.

He informed them about designated routes, administrative coordination, provision of facilities

and security planning.

The officials expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and directed the departments

concerned to maintain close coordination and ensure foolproof security and effective

management throughout Muharram.
