LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, an important initiative of Child Protection Bureau Chairperson Sara Ahmed (Tamgha Imtiaz) has come to light to empower children residing in Child Protection Bureau.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab and Skill Nest Institute.
Chairperson Sara Ahmed said that a vocational training program has been launched to make children residing in Child Protection Bureau skilled, and modern technical training will be provided to children under the care of Child Protection Bureau.
Sara Ahmed said that under the agreement, training will be provided in information technology, creative arts and beautification and other fields.
She said that making every child of the Child Protection Bureau independent and confident is her first commitment, through three-month training programs, children will be enabled to find dignified employment.
She said that practical steps are underway for the rehabilitation and economic self-reliance of children, national level certificates will be issued on the successful completion of the training.
She said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, along with protection, children have to be given a bright future, and provision of a safe, dignified and friendly educational environment will be ensured.
Sara Ahmed said that both the institutions will jointly monitor and report on the training process, effective collaboration will be established for a better and safer future of children.
