Designed to meet rising demand for 700W+ modules, the new series targets utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), as well as residential applications

LAHORE: (UrduPoin/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-April 20th, 2026) Trinasolar, a global leader in smart photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, has introduced its latest high-performance solar module, the Vertex N G3 760W series, at the Solar Pakistan Expo.

Designed to meet rising demand for 700W+ modules, the new series targets utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), as well as residential applications.

Having already pioneered this segment with its first 700W+ module in 2024, Trinasolar has supplied over 500MW of such modules across Pakistan, largely supporting C&I and residential projects. The country’s solar sector continues to grow rapidly, helping offset global energy supply challenges and strengthening energy security through increased reliance on distributed solar systems.

The Vertex N G3 (NEG21C.20Q) represents a significant upgrade, delivering up to 760W of power with an efficiency of 24.3%, powered by advanced n-type i-TOPCon Ultra cell technology. Its optimized electrical design allows higher output per string while lowering system costs, reducing both balance of system (BOS) and levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) by an estimated 2–3%.

Engineered specifically for Pakistan’s climate, the module maintains strong performance even in high temperatures, with a temperature coefficient of -0.

26%/°C. Its bifacial dual-glass structure enables an additional 10–20% energy gain, while improved resistance to dust, humidity, and salinity enhances durability. The product also comes with a 30-year power output warranty.

Industry representatives highlighted the growing demand for efficient and reliable solar solutions. Yousuf Allahwala, Director of Mesol, noted that the market is rapidly shifting toward higher-output systems. Meanwhile, Saleem Diwan emphasized the importance of durability in Pakistan’s challenging environmental conditions.

In addition to the 760W model, Trinasolar also introduced the Vertex N G3 670W variant, a lighter and more compact module tailored for rooftop installations where space and structural load are key considerations.

Both models are expected to be available from Q3 2025. At the expo, the company is also showcasing its wider portfolio, including energy storage solutions such as the Elementa 3 battery system, reinforcing its role as a comprehensive provider of renewable energy solutions in Pakistan.
