ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Under the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, Inspector Naveed Ahmad Qazi of the National Highways and Motorway Police has set a remarkable example of honesty, dedication, and professional responsibility while performing special duties as a Khadim-ul-Hujjaj.

According to an NHMP press release issued on Thursday, Inspector Naveed Ahmad Qazi was performing his official duties at a hotel in Saudi Arabia when he found a misplaced handbag.

Upon checking, the bag was found to contain 2,000 Saudi Riyals along with important original identification documents.

Demonstrating exceptional professionalism and sense of duty, the officer immediately contacted the hotel administration and, along with the duty officer, carefully reviewed CCTV footage to trace the rightful owner of the bag.

After continuous efforts, it was confirmed that the documents belonged to a woman resident of Karachi, Pakistan.

Inspector Naveed Ahmad Qazi subsequently located the concerned woman and safely returned the handbag, cash, and all original documents to her.

The woman expressed deep gratitude for the extraordinary honesty, responsibility, and cooperation shown by the officer. She highly appreciated the Pakistan Hajj Mission, particularly the National Highways and Motorway Police officer, for his exemplary conduct and dedication to duty.

She stated that such officers not only project a positive image of Pakistan internationally but also strengthen the confidence and trust of Hajj pilgrims.
