One brother killed, other injured after argument turns violent

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) A minor joke during a meal of samosas turned into a tragic incident, leaving one brother dead and another seriously injured here in Shafiqabad area.

According to police here on Sunday, the accused became enraged over a trivial remark and attacked both brothers with a knife.

The victims were rushed to the hospital, where Zunair succumbed to his injuries, while Aizen Shah remains under treatment.

Sources revealed that the suspect, a lawyer by profession, fled the scene after the attack. Police responded promptly to the emergency call and launched an immediate operation. DIG Operations also took notice of the incident.

With the help of human intelligence, police arrested the accused from Muridke within two hours.
