One dead,four injured in separate roof collapse incidents

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) One labourer was killed and four people,including three children were injured in two separate roof collapse incidents,rescue officials said on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122,the roof of a house collapsed in Dadowali village near Daska Road after incessant rain, injuring three children.The victims were identified as Haroon(11),Ibrahim(13) and Farhan(7).

Rescue teams administered first aid at the scene before shifting the injured children to THQ Hospital Sambrial for further treatment.

In a separate incident near Seerat-ul-Mustaqeem Madrassa on Gohadpur Chowk,Ghulam Ali Road,a room wall collapsed during construction work,causing the concrete roof to cave in on two labourers.

Rescue personnel pulled both workers from the debris.Arshad(32) died on the spot while Akbar Ali(30) was given first aid before being shifted to Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital (AIMTH).
