One killed by accomplice fire

Mirpurkhas, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) One suspect was killed after being hit by his accomplice’s gunfire, while another managed to escape in an encounter took place between police and armed suspects within the jurisdiction of Sindhri Police Station.

According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Senior Superintendent of Police Office Mirpurkhas, Sindhri police were on routine patrol when, near Sabzal Stop, suspicious individuals opened fire upon seeing the police personnel.

During the exchange of fire, one suspect, identified as Khan Muhammad Mari, was seriously injured by a bullet fired by his own accomplice.

He was shifted to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police stated that the deceased suspect was wanted by Mirpurkhas police in multiple cases, including terrorism, robbery, and police encounters. Further criminal record of the deceased is being collected from other police stations and districts to compile a comprehensive record.
