Open court held in Quetta to address public issues

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) The District Administration Quetta on Wednesday held an open court at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office for the immediate resolution of public issues and the difficulties being faced by the citizens in the area.

In the open court, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar met the citizens directly and listened to their problems in detail.

Officers from various departments were also present on the occasion so that complaints could be registered on the spot and immediate steps could be taken to resolve them.

Citizens submitted their complaints regarding water, electricity, sanitation, revenue, land records, and other local government issues.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar issued instructions to the concerned officers and said that no delay would be tolerated in resolving public issues and timely and effective action should be ensured on every complaint.

He stressed that all government departments should make public service their top priority and treat the citizens with courtesy.

He further said that the purpose of holding open courts is to provide justice to the people at their doorsteps and to find immediate solutions by listening to their problems directly.

He said that this series would be continued regularly so that the trust of the citizens in the district administration is further strengthened.
