Oppo announces official launch date for Reno 16 series

Oppo has officially announced that the Reno 16 series will launch globally on June 25. The company had earlier started teasing the phones this week but had not shared the exact launch date at that time. It has now confirmed that the devices will first launch in Thailand and Spain before reaching other markets.

The Reno 16 series features a new design approach called the “3D Pop Planet Design.” Oppo says the design is inspired by space-like visuals and represents the idea that every person is like a small, vibrant planet. This gives the phones a bold and unique look.

Ling Liu, Oppo’s Overseas Chief Marketing Officer, said that the Reno series continues to evolve by combining strong technology with personal expression and creativity. He added that the Reno 16 series reflects this goal through its special design style and new AI-based creative features.

However, Oppo has not yet revealed full specifications for the global models. Reports suggest that the international Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro may be different from the versions released in China in May.

At the moment, it is still unclear what changes will be made for the global market. More details are expected when the Reno 16 series officially launches on June 25.
