RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd May, 2026) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out multiple operations across the country, arresting three drug suppliers and recovered more than 25 kilograms of drugs worth over Rs2.6 million here on Saturday.
According to an ANF spokesperson, a total of four operations were conducted in different cities as part of an ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking.
In Peshawar, 2.4 kg of drugs were recovered from supplier near Jameel Chowk on Ring Road.
In another operation in Karachi, ANF personnel seized 21.6 kg of drugs from a motorcyclist near Landhi Korangi and arrested another supplier on the spot.
Similarly, 550 grams of hashish were recovered from an individual near a petrol pump on Chashma Road in Dera Ismail Khan.
In a separate action, ANF officials intercepted a parcel at a courier office in Dera Ghazi Khan and recovered 600 grams of drugs concealed inside an emergency light. The parcel had been sent from Peshawar.
Cases have been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, and further investigations are underway.
