Over 500 approach DC at open court for redressal of grievances

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Well over 500 people appeared before deputy commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddique

chairing an open court to get their problems resolved here on Wednesday.

The open court was held on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif,

to ensure prompt resolution of civic issues.

More than 500 applications and complaints were received from citizens at the open court

that was also attended by heads of various government departments.

Muhammad Nauman Siddique personally listened to the problems of citizens and issued

on-the-spot instructions to the relevant departments for their immediate resolution.

Among the officials present were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hafiz Muhammad

Mudassir, CEO Multan Waste Management Company Zulfiqar Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner

City Azka Sehr, Assistant Commissioner Sadr Waqas Zafar, Managing Director WASA,

and SP Operations.

A large number of men and women participated in the open court held at Raza Hall and

presented complaints related to land encroachments, law and order concerns, and various

public service issues.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said the district administration remains committed

to ensuring timely solutions to citizens’ problems through practical measures.

Muhammad Nauman Siddique further stated that the initiative of holding open courts

would continue to promote public service delivery and good governance. He announced

that joint open courts involving all departments would be organized every month to provide

citizens with a direct platform to raise their concerns and obtain swift solutions.
