Pak-China friendship celebrated

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) On the occasion of Pak-China Friendship Day, the district administration organized a dignified ceremony at the lawn of the Deputy Commissioner Office Bahawalpur.

Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia, Regional Police Officer Ghazi Salahuddin, and Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza jointly hoisted the national flags and raised slogans of “Long Live Pak-China Friendship.”

On the occasion, guard of honor was presented to the national flags of Pakistan and China, while the national anthems of both countries were also played.

The ceremony was attended by Additional Commissioner Coordination Dr Nayyar Mustafa, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Dr Ayesha Khan, Assistant Commissioner Iqra Mubeen, and other officials.

Addressing the ceremony, speakers stated that Pak-China friendship is a shining example of trust, sincerity, and mutual cooperation. They emphasized that relations between Pakistan and China are not merely diplomatic in nature but represent a deep bond between the people of both countries.
