Pakistan capable of defending sovereignty against all aggression: Governor Kundi

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday said that “Marka-e-Haq” had proved that Pakistan possessed complete capability to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against all forms of aggression.

In a message issued on completion of one year of “Marka-e-Haq,” the Governor said the armed forces of Pakistan had responded to every act of enemy aggression in an effective and decisive manner.

He said the enemy’s nefarious designs were thwarted during the operation, adding that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in defence of the country.

Kundi said the success of “Marka-e-Haq” further strengthened national unity, public confidence and patriotism among the people.

He said Pakistan believed in peace, stability and mutual respect in the region, however, any aggression would be responded to with full force and national unity.

The Governor said there could be no compromise on Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.

Paying tribute to martyrs and veterans, he said the nation would always remember their sacrifices, adding that brave sons of the soil rendered eternal sacrifices for the defence of the motherland.
