Pakistan Embassy in Russia marks first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq”

A commemorative ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Russia to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” underscoring Pakistan’s enduring themes of national cohesion, resilience, and its steadfast commitment to regional peace and strategic stability.

The event drew a diverse gathering including members of the Pakistani diaspora, students, entrepreneurs, and individuals from various professional and social backgrounds, reflecting broad community engagement.

Addressing the occasion Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, described “Marka-e-Haq” as a defining chapter in the country’s contemporary history one that vividly reflected the nation’s unity, resolve, and collective strength in the face of adversity.

He stated that during the events of the previous year Pakistan responded to Indian aggression in a calibrated, responsible, and internationally compliant manner, a response that, according to him, was taken seriously on the global diplomatic stage.

The ambassador highlighted the exceptional coordination between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership during that critical period, noting their strategic clarity, institutional harmony, and unwavering focus on safeguarding national interests. He also praised the Pakistani people for demonstrating remarkable unity, discipline, and solidarity.

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi commended the armed forces for their professionalism, operational excellence, and steadfast dedication to defending the homeland, describing their conduct as a continued source of national honour and pride.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s foreign policy vision, he emphasized that the country has consistently championed peace, stability, and constructive diplomacy in the region, while maintaining that sovereignty and territorial integrity remain inviolable principles.

He further stressed that dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual respect remain the cornerstone of conflict resolution in today’s complex global environment, reiterating Pakistan’s principled commitment to these values.

The ambassador also lauded the Pakistani community in Russia, terming them dynamic cultural ambassadors who continue to play a pivotal role in enhancing Pakistan’s global image through their contributions and positive engagement.

Members of the community also addressed the gathering, highlighting themes of national pride, unity, and collective identity, while expressing unwavering confidence in Pakistan’s civil and military leadership and its role in advancing peace and regional harmony.

The ceremony concluded with the screening of a specially curated documentary, showcasing Pakistan’s perspective on “Marka-e-Haq” and its broader significance in the national narrative.
