QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s role in both peace and the battlefield has been very unique, despite challenges, both internal and external, Pakistan has set new examples of diplomacy and leadership at the international level.

In a statement issued here on the occasion of the Battle of Haq, he said that "Pakistan thwarted Indian aggression with the high flying of the Pakistan Air Force and the successful defense strategy of the Pakistan Army. We defended our land in the best way, maintained our national dignity, and proved that our defense is invincible."

Mandokhel said that "we have proven that diplomacy could overcome even the most tense situations and transform conflicts between countries and nations into meaningful dialogue. We still firmly believe that peace is possible even in the current desperate situation and that even a small effort by a country could secure a brighter and more peaceful future.

" Mandokhel said that Pakistan has emerged as a center of peace and dialogue in the current international uncertainty.

He maintained that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a mega project that would soon redefine the economic map of Asia. After its completion, Pakistan would emerge as an important economic hub that would play a key role in connecting Central Asia, South Asia, and the middle East.

“It is as if we are currently a bridge for peace and dialogue, and in the next phase, we would become a reliable source of economic development,” he said, and added that our geographical location reinforces the fact that Pakistan is not only a symbol of peace but also a center of economic development and prosperity for the entire region in the near future.
