Pakistan Hajj Mission ensures top-tier arrangements for state pilgrims in Madinah

MADINAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) The Pakistan Hajj Mission has deployed round-the-clock operations to provide exemplary hospitality and seamless transit facilities for pilgrims under the government scheme. Following the completion of the core Hajj rituals, the influx of state pilgrims into Madinah has gathered significant momentum. In response, dedicated teams across key desks including arrivals, departures, catering, transport, Riyazul Jannah visits, and grievance redressal are working tirelessly to ensure hassle-free services.

According to Hajj Mission officials, 40,000 Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Madinah so far during the post-Hajj phase, with an additional 32,000 state pilgrims expected over the next ten days. Concurrently, 18,000 pilgrims have already completed their ziarat (sacred site visits) in the holy city and returned safely to Pakistan. The overall Hajj Operation 2026 is scheduled to culminate on June 30 with the departure of the final flight from Madinah.

This year, the Pakistan Hajj Mission has achieved a historic milestone by securing accommodation for 119,000 pilgrims in premium star hotels situated in close proximity to Masjid-e-Nabawi.

To streamline administrative workflows and enhance transparency, a modern digital induction system has been pioneered this season. The digital infrastructure facilitates the pre-allotment of rooms, allowing pilgrims to access their accommodations immediately upon arrival without experiencing any delays.

Furthermore, transit and facilitation protocols have been heavily optimized. To mitigate crowding and eliminate lengthy queues at the Madinah Airport, the entire outbound flight boarding process is being completed directly at the pilgrims' residential hotels. Additionally, to manage the highly anticipated visits to Riyazul Jannah, the mission has formed specialized guiding squads. These teams coordinate phased, orderly access for pilgrims to offer prayers, ensuring a tranquil and spiritually fulfilling environment for the guests of Allah.
