Pakistan's efforts for US-Iran peace talks hailed

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) Chief Executive Officer Mian Kashif Ashfaq has hailed Pakistan’s proactive and sincere diplomatic efforts in bringing the US and Iran to negotiating table in Islamabad, terming it a highly commendable initiative aimed at defusing escalating tensions in the middle East.

Presiding over the council's meeting here Sunday, he added Pakistan’s timely efforts have helped create a rare opportunity for dialogue at a critical juncture when the region was heading towards further instability. Pakistan’s continued engagement will lead to meaningful outcomes, paving the way for lasting peace, restoration of investor confidence, and economic revival across the region.

PFC chief emphasised that such efforts not only enhance Pakistan’s global diplomatic standing but also contribute significantly to regional peace, which is vital for economic stability and uninterrupted trade flows.
