Pakistan's image globally enhanced after brokering ceasefire between US and Iran: Dr Ebad

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Opposition leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Dr. Ebad Khan here Thursday said that Pakistan's image has been globally enhanced after brokering ceasefire between US and Iran.

"After about two months of regional tension, the world especially middle east breathed a sigh of relief, and Pakistan’s stature has risen further on the global stage, says Dr. Ibadullah in a statement here.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal COAS/CDF Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, a positive, balanced and hopeful development was emerged in the context of the recent global security situation.

He said that after two months of regional tension, the world has finally breathed a sigh of relief and Pakistan’s prestige has further increased at the international level.

Although this conflict affected the global economy, Pakistan’s wise leadership and effective diplomacy has not only managed the situation but also highlighted the country’s positive image.

He further said that today Pakistan is emerging as a responsible and dignified state, playing a constructive role globally through strong leadership and balanced policies. "I welcome this wise step and hope that this development will prove to be an important milestone toward lasting peace."
