Passenger bus hits trailer on highway

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) A speeding passenger bus coming from Jehlum hit a trailer on National Highway passing through Bahawalpur. However, no loss of life was reported.

According to Rescue 1122, the passenger bus (CAW-9160) was coming from Jehlum when it hit a trailer from the side while making a U-turn and then crashed into a nearby wall near Adda Sharifabad.

However, no loss of life was reported.

“All passengers of the bus remained safe,” they said, adding that Motorway Police arrived at the scene and cleared the road for traffic flow.
